This demonstrates the peripheral drift illusion. It’s the printer-adjusted “rotating snakes” image from A. Kitaoka’s site.

EDIT: Please note that the thing that makes this interesting is that the images are not animated. These are static images that trick your eye into thinking that there’s movement.
